Pediatric Advanced Life Support Renewal Course (PALS Renewal - 1 day)
The course will feature the latest basic and advanced pediatric life support techniques and pediatric resuscitation guidelines using high fidelity simulators. Participants will have a chance to practice PALS algorithms as team leaders and team members. Successful applicants will receive the Heart and Stroke Foundation PALS provider certificate. The course is available to health care providers involved in management of critically-ill children on an ongoing basis.
Course Length: 1 day (9 hours)

Accreditation:
This Group Learning activity has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for 2 credits per hour. This Section 2 Traineeship program has been certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for 2 credits per hour.
PREREQUISITES:
Current Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certificate
PALS Pre-course Self-Assessment Certificate (passing score = 70%)
